Robotics says comic nerds spend too much money on comics and not enough on their wives. The New This Week!
Sarcasm, metaphor, simile, cynicism, and make-believe are the only weapons we possess, and are therefore abused mightily. There is no sanctuary herein for the misunderstood, presumptuous, or fair-minded. Take heed. Click on the comics to reveal the reviews hidden by the magic of HTML!
Peblee Recommends:
Let me recommend that all follow this exceptional series. On the heels of the Black Flame the team is down in the dumps, but decisive as only 4-6 issue book characters can be. I joke, this is a great book, and gets my vote for most likely to be as satisfying as Fables. Fumanchu Recommends:
This week’s choice was the hardest I have ever had to make. Strange Girl ended a chapter, Runaways ended a volume, Fables began a chapter, and Eric Powell is in need of our love and support. But I could not, in good conscience, give my recommendation to any book but Lucifer #75. Like the Canadian Declaration of Independence, or the non-steam engine, Lucifer is an overlooked, but important part of comic history. This issue marks the end of the powerful and ingenious story of The Vatican’s Most Wanted, Lucifer. Unlike the rest of the issues, you do not need to know the back-story to enjoy this truly epic comic book. So give the devil his due.
