Ultimates 2 11
After all their preaching, all their being different from all the other comic books out there, Ultimates 2 is ending up a fanboy’s cheeseball battle-royale.
It is really annoying when Cap and Wasp open a door expecting a fight, and find a room filled to the brim with dead badguys each with an arrow sticking out of them and Hawkeye standing there with his bow saying something like, “All’s clear!” I am pretty sure he has his collar up, a pompadore hairdo, a switch-blade comb, huge sunglasses, and his thumb up, going, "Eeeeeeeehhhhhhh!"
I mean where does he get these arrows, and just how many can he carry. He’s even got one ready to fire. But, the worst part was when Wasp stood there, let these guys pull on her until they could shout out their stupid threats to Captain America, and then said, and I quote (remember they are trying to rip her apart, but they al have a hold of her at the same time the whole time)
“You know that thing I do? That sting when I’m five-hundred-times smaller? How much do you think it hurts when I’m full size?”
She says this while on her face is this look like she is taking the most painful and sweaty poo of her entire life. It’s dumb, and it’s disgusting.
The book just get’s sillier from there, and follows the exact same formula as the last volume: blah, blah, all hope is lost, oh wait Cap’s back, no now he is in trouble, has to fight the big baddie, no wait there’s the Hulk. Same exactly.
What’s more, it seems that Hitch has given up, and is just not really interested in drawing anymore.
I think the Wasp was pooping out this issue, and it was so painful she nearly met her demise.
