Secret War #4

This just in. A man, to be unnamed, went into the future. He traveled to the year twelve-hundred-billion, and returned with the then newly-released Secret War #4. He brought back quite a few copies, and I suppose, due to inflation in the far-future, decided to sell them for $3.99. Now, I know that a lot of you bought this issue because, I am told, the time-traveling comic lover put them up for sale at most comic shops. So, I am happy to lend my opinion to things as the saga of Nick Fury and his not-too-swell ideas continues to unfold.

Last time our heroes were about to do battle with a mother-load of baddies, and this issue is just the fight between the two groups with an overload of Spider-Man’s humor thrown in for spice.

Look, the art in these books is excellent, but as for the story, this book just doesn’t seem worth the wait. One thing is for sure, though. It was still a great and honorable move on the part of Joe-Time-Travel to bring this book out of the ages. Too bad it wasn’t as grand as the technology that made it available.
