Inane Discussion Ten: Due to ridiculous schedualing conflicts and massive ammounts of lazitude, this week we are doing a quick run-down. We call it - "The Run-Down!"
Peblee: Sorry, didn't read it. Fumanchu: Artwork lacking, but story has time-travelling goodness
Peblee: Cut and dry, nothing spectacular, except in the face of the rest of the comics this week. Very good for Captain America. Art and Story a plus. Fumanchu: Didn't read it.
Peblee: You know I didn't read it. Fumanchu: Very funny. Great cooperation between writer and artist.
Peblee: Excellent newnicity. A great addition to the DCU. Hate the smart-ass overload, but nevertheless a great book with some genuine humor and intrigue. Fumanchu: Let me just say that what I read of it was great....what I read of it.
Peblee: Space Ghost is a comic book lover's comic. A perfect mix of action, story, dialogue and art. The stuff legends are made of. Whoever doesn't read this is a ninny. Fumanchu: Not as funny as the TV show.
Peblee: Superb art, whacky storyline, and campy ending, but lots of fun. Fumanchu: This one could get real interesting! Dr. Light is a mean motherscratcher.
Peblee: This is the sleeper that should have people beating up their moms to get to. Again, should you fail to read it, big time ninny. Fumanchu: ?
Peblee: Smart writing by Millar. Thor is silly, not crazy, right? Only problem is Cap saying "You're nuts, and we're taking you down." That is not Cap's style. Fumanchu: New story is looking really good. I am pretty sure that Thor is not really crazy.
Peblee: More Millar goodness. I am so glad that he's staying on, not so happy about JR. Fumanchu: Cheesy to the point of silliness. The art is TMNT style. What's up with JR lately, anyway?
Peblee: Good story, with ample confusion as to Kang's current time-space status, and why that girls pants didn't explode at the end. Fumanchu: I know mine did. Peblee: I sure hope next week brings better books. Fumanchu: And exploding pants
