Wolverine 39 |
WHATWASTHAT? That was Wolverine number 39, though it may have been a bit too rushed for you to make much of it out. Heh, well, it isn’t really that bad, but I definitely felt hurried while reading this latest issue, or maybe it was just the awkward cells during the fight scene. Still, if the art is a bit below par, and the writing a bit forced, you cannot deny that this story arc is of paramount importance to the story of Wolverine. After the recent struggle to return the world to normal, the Scarlet Witch made a few changes that most of you are aware of. The world has only a little more than one hundred mutants left, and Wolverine has regained his memory, all of it. Or at least that is what we are led to believe. But these memories were not the answers that Logan was looking for. It seems that within his past lie more questions than answers, but now he has a place to start looking. Whether or not his newfound memories are accurate remains to be seen, but he knows one thing for sure: During several of the most important events of Wolverine's life there has been a bizarre similarity. That similarity was the presence of one Bucky Barnes, Captain America’s former sidekick. Despite some delivery flaws, this story arc is indispensable to any Marvel fan. No one can disagree that Wolverine is Marvel’s star player. I mean, he is featured on the cover of half the comics whether or not he is actually in them. Finally, we might get some answers about Wolverine’s past, sunny disposition, and maybe, his shortness. -Fumanchu |
