Ultimate Fantastic Four 28
Reed Richards has done the unthinkable! Well, unthinkable may be too strong of a word, because many devote readers will no doubt have thought of it a bunch of times. He has gone back in time and stopped the accident that created the Fantastic Four from ever happening. In fact, he changed the whole course of human history. In the new present, the once now-not-fantastic four contacted a group of Super Skrulls instead of getting transformed. The Super Skrulls gave humans all kinds of neat stuff including some pills, which unlock latent powers in the human genetic code. Now everyone has super powers! But wait, you learned readers will say, Super Skrulls are evil! Right you are. It seems the Super Skrulls gift comes with a price, and it looks like the only one who can stop them is the only normal guy left, Ben Grimm
All you really need to know is who made this comic to buy it. Mark Millar has proven himself to be one of the best writers in his field, as Greg Land and Matt Ryan have done with art. But why, oh why is Justin Ponsor not on the cover for his amazing job as colorist? Is this guy as upset as I am?
