Ah… The sweet tang of alternate dimensions. Ever a popular theme for the Fantastic Four; this particular story arc, “Crossover,” includes not one, but two Fantastic Four… Fours. Or is it Fouri? Anyway, Reed Richards is approached by… Reed Richards, only from the slightly different regular Marvel Universe (This series takes place in the Ultimate Marvel U. ((U stands for universe, not university.))), or so he thinks. As it turns out, Reed Richards is fooled by the person who is best suited to do so… REED RICHARDS!!!

It seems that this alternate universe is not the regular MU, but one very much like it. Despite the nauseating complexity and potential for writer’s convenience this universe creates, it apparently exists and is infected. The infection itself is a bit confusing. It apparently affects super humans and causes them to eat regular people, but they also eat other super humans. But if the infected eat super humans, why are they all crazy and not… eaten? And why do they all re… Negro Modelo is good… Sorry, distracted there. What was I saying? And why so they all retain their personalities? And how does it target super people, aliens, mutants, freaks, and weapons and not normal people. Well, no one said trans-dimensional viruses had to make sense, (maybe that’s why writers use them…). Still, this story is about to get interesting as Magneto is the only super human that remains uninfected…
