The Tick: Days of Drama #1 |
YES! At last, the debut of the comic that fans across the world have been waiting for! The Tick is Back. This comic is pact full of painfully funny humor that is not unlike that of Eric Powell. In fact, I missed many of the jokes at first and only later realized that I should laugh (such as “Unspeakable Chips” and the fist shaped snow), and laugh I did. The humor is a hilarious blend of slapstick gags, bizarre labels, and intelligent jokes. Nearly everything the Tick says is funny. This is probably the most fun comic you are going to read for a while. Though you diehard comic fans are going to have to lighten up a bit in order to appreciate it. (And you Michael Turner fans might be disappointed by the entire lack of wet breasts and camel toe). So to sum up, this is just a funny comic, if you are a blowhard who takes yourself really seriously, then you shouldn’t be buying comics anyway, ya jerk! -Fumanchu
