Outsiders #30

Now this was a weird issue. Sabbac, (Ishmael Greggor) a mafia man turned Demon has been given the powers of the Seven Deadly Sins which were released during the fight between The Spectre and Shazaam (Day of Vengeance). Between the nare-do-wells overtaken by lust and the Outsiders attempting to crash their ship in a fit of rage, not to mention Katana nearly killing all of the new Outsiders from envy, this issue gets a little strange. But it sure works out for Sabbac, who almost wins the day when Donna Troy shows up and makes short work of him. But without so much as a how-do-you-do, she asks which of the Outsiders will go to war with her. What war? I don’t know, but I heard mention of it in several other DC comics, so I imagine it’s going to be important.

In truth, this series was just filler while Infinite Crisis gets rolling, but it actually was a pretty good read. Get it to complete your collection, but this is probably a bad place for newcomers to start.
