OMAC Project #3 |
The OMAC project is apparently a group of strange, be-mohawked, cyborgs that can appear anywhere in the world at the whim of Max Lord, the Black King of the Checkmate organization (which is somehow able to see anyone anywhere on Earth regardless of whether they are inside or not, and also can spy on the JLA at their moon base. More that this, they seem to be basically running the entire world unbeknownst to said worlds greatest minds and heroes.) Also the cyborgs bleed. But if you can get past the plot holes, irrational story, and obvious insults to your intelligence, then you will find that this series is going to have some importance in the upcoming DC crisis. This project is directly connected to a satellite built by Bruce Wayne that can monitor heroes world wide. The satellite is named Brother I. Needless to say, Bats is playing a big part in this comic along with Sasha, former lover of Batman and current Black Knight of checkmate. Sasha was appalled by the murder of Ted Kord and has decided to squeal to bats (I’m talking about information.) Meanwhile, the Blue Beetles friends have decided to team up again and hunt down his murderer. The art in this is pretty good, and so is the writing despite the preposterous plot. Not only is this important to the next big thing in DC comics, but it was also pretty fun to read. And something about the last page tells me I is about to get a lot more interesting. -Fumanchu |
