Moon Knight 1
Time for a hero that kicks some serious ass! Moon Knight is a no-punch-pull’n, no-mercy-given, bad-guy-exterminating kinda guy. Now if only he could walk right. Yes Moon Knight, gifted with powers by his god, Khonshu, had his legs horribly smashed, and then sunk into a spiral of self-destruction that left no part of his former life standing. Pretty lame, huh? Now, some of you know it alls may say, but he was an Avenger! Why can’t he get Tony Stark, or Shields help? Surely in that world of super smart techno-geniuses there would be someone who could re-leg him! Clearly you are wrong. It’s not in the comic, and Marvel wouldn’t overlook such a substantial plot hole. So it must not be true. Major comic companies just don’t do that to friends.
Well, whatever his body is like, we can see that Moon Knights mind is… crazy. That woman-beating, spiked-knuckle-punching kinda crazy that would make people like Tony Stark not want to make you any more mobile than you have to be. I mean, those guys were just shooting at each other, and he killed them all. Now granted, shooting at each other isn’t a constructive, legal pastime, but don’t you think a spiked knuckle to the knog’ is a bit harsh?
Still, however harsh Moon Knight might be, his comic has the potential to be really cool. But, and I can’t stress this enough, you Marvel artists need to take it easy on the shadows and lines. You guys are going crazy with that stuff. I feel like I’m playing the “find it” puzzle in “Highlights.” So lets hope this comic will be a keeper, and that no one will tell the Moon Knight that there are no gods on the moon.
