Spider-Man: House of M #1

I guess I didn't really know what to expect out of marvels summer blockbuster, that will be taking place in almost ever comic they do. House of M is where mutants rule the world, humans have basically become extinct or worker bees to mutants. I think this is all a fun idea, and I wonder if there will be much character cross over, or will it all just be based on the fact they rule now.

In Spiderman House of M Peter Parker lives in Connecticut, he is rich and famous. Peter is married to Gwen Stacy, not Mary Jane which I think is weird. And if not weird enough already Peter is a father and J Jonah Jameson works for him. In fact I believe this whole book is strange it is a fairly peaceful place now that mutants rule, except for some racism from the mutants to the remaining humans. I do like the end of this book because it leads me to believe that in number 2 we might actually see some action, because the Green Goblin shows his ugly mug.

Sadly over all I was not impressed by this book. I don't know if I was expecting too much or this just kinda sucked. The story is moving slowly and boring, and I don't like some of the drastic changes, like The Rhino picking up on MJ. I was also not a big fan of the art as a whole.  I hope that we see more in issue number 2. With the Green Goblin the chances are rising.
