Hellboy: The Island #2

I cannot stress enough the importance of this comic. It contains within it answers to the mysterious past of cult fanatic and fan favorite character, Hellboy. His origins are more profound and stunningly brilliant than you or your mother could ever fathom with one hundred percent of your collective brain mass. I knew that Mike Mignola was a brilliant author, but this comic truly reveals the mystical and ancient depths that make up his Nod-like subconscious. To put it simply, he is extremely creative.

You cannot miss this comic! I would tell you more, but I fear to reveal even a single hint of the Pandora’s Box that is this mini-series. But do not fear, there is still much to learn about Hellboy, and he will be around to kick some more ass for some time to come. Only it seems that this fact has some dire consequences…
