Girls #2 |
Hilarious weird and perfect. Do I need to say anything more? Okay, then: Probably the only Image comic worth your time, except The Gift – the underdog masterpiece by Raven Gregory (he is also a really nice guy:
note: Fumanchu is my brother, and so is Raven, but in a different way. Man! I was skinny when I was in the Army!) Girls, done by the Brothers Luna, is funny while also being graced with enough mystery, sex, and intrigue to keep you wondering what in the hellfire is going on. Thee is a hint of super heroism, but it is neither prominent, nor even the focus. There are a lot of girls and, when I say this you’re just going to have to take it as truth, there are may more girls by the end of this issue. What is going on? You know, I have no idea. But, I am being strung along on a line that I like and enjoy, so it’s okay. I suggest that you get out and try to find this book. I don’t know about your comic shop, but mine has none left of one or two, so maybe try EBay. (But don’t try to connect to them through us.) -Peblee |
