Fantastic Four #528 |
First off, I have to say that this comic has an awesome cover. Moving right along, Ben Grimm a.k.a. the Thing has recently come into some serious money and has decided to spend it, big time. The resulting attention has sent him into some deep soul searching. At the same time, Reed Richards is helping a super secret government organization recreate the accident which created the Fantastic Four, but as he does, he starts to see a serious problem, with the help of Dr. Love. The accident should have done the same thing to each person, but instead it gave them powers that mirror their personalities. So what will happen if they do it again? And while all this is going on, Susan gets a call from child services. They have decided to perform an investigation to find out whether the Richard’s children are safe staying with their Villain’s Most Wanted parents. The art and writing are both well above average, and I am excited to see all of these as-of-yet ignored plot problems. This is going to be a great story arch, and the results might change the Fantastic Four forever, but I doubt it. -Fumanchu |
