Detective Comics #810

Though we are all a bit upset that various Batman story lines were abruptly ended to make way for this cross-series follow up to “War Games” entitled “War Crimes,” it is here, and it is interesting. So I might as well tell you about it. Batman has recently been led to discover that Stephanie (Robin, The Spoiler) actually did no have to die, but might have been murdered in the hospital she was taken to. But as Bats investigates, the mystery continually gets bigger and more dangerous as the Black Mask, the Joker, an eventually The Clue Master (Stephanie’s’ father take part.)

The artwork in this issue shows talent, but is sadly rushed at times. The dialogue is great, and the story mostly makes up for the shattered story arcs it left behind. Though its positioning is weird, this story is actually very good, so give it a chance, we owe Stephanie that much at least.
