Desolation Jones 6
My goodness, what an ending.
I don’t know if you keep up with this sort of book, but I have to tell you that it is worth it. With a strange and completely feelingless lead, and a score of terrible people around him all deserving to be taken immediately to the deeper levels of hell and treated unkindly, you just don’t know what will happen. This book rocks because it is constantly surprising without the use of wormholes or multiple dimensions. Warren Ellis has crafted a tale filled with dark humor and action that leaves out all the easy answers found in your average comic. What is great about this issue is that as soon as everything that you never thought would happen happens, something else unsuspected occurs that spins Jones into his upcoming storyline. Not for kiddies, this book will hit home with all of those ex-intelligence operatives who long for the kill in all of you.
