Day of Vengeance #5

Ok, this is just getting annoying. The Spectre is apparently unbeatable, and somehow able to receive rumors through a magical society that he just destroyed, but despite these amazing powers, we get to watch a team of weirdoes try over and over again to beat him. Well, its not that bad, but I am getting tired of all this DC stuff that goes nowhere. If they didn’t have that much story to tell before Infinite Crisis, then why didn’t they just start it sooner? It seems to me that they are just buying time so that they can throw it all together at the last minute. When is Ted Kord going to become the Spectre? Sure this has some interesting characters, but they don’t go into any detail on them and they aren’t going to show up again, so why even bother? And where are all the big wigs besides Captain Marvel while the Spectre murders millions. To be blunt, I think that this series had a reasonable amount of effort put into it, but very little thought.
