Breach #5 |
Breach is so mean! This comic has meanitude on par with X23! If you haven’t read either and are an impressionable teen male scientist with vengeance on your evil brain, or are an Army officer with a thing for your best friend’s wife, then take my advice and avoid both of the afore mentioned books. But, if you are a generally kind reader of fanciful fiction then by all means pick up your bimbly little flittery flutter magic carpet and follow me to the world of a DC outsider. Damaged by a terrible dimension-splitting accident (which was no accident) Zanetti was turned into a paradimensional being with unknowable power. Also, no one is quite sure weather he is going to swing for the goods or the bads. Then there is the whole problem that he is unstable, and so you can’t be sure which guy he is going to be. And then there is the multitude of lies which stream toward him from his captors and his best friend. This is a great comic book that could actually be far better with a bit more money and some much better art. All I really want to say about this book is that you should all be reading it, and that it is damn mean. I guess I should also say that Marcos Martin’s art is not bad, it is just that this book deserves a lot better artwork. But I have said that for five months, and the team at DC just doesn’t seem to be listening. -Peblee |
