Atomika #5

This truly genius allegory of the rise of the Soviet Union continues with Atomika seeking out the oldest and greatest of the old gods, Leshi, deep within the oldest forest in Russia. But it seems that this one is wiser than the rest and knows his end is inevitable. Instead he chooses to speak to Atomika and tell him the long tale of the gods, and the perplexity of man. This is perhaps the most poignant and enthralling issue, and the wisdom that Leshi imparts to Atomika are so profound that they shake even him, strongest of existence. But it seems that the ruler is not happy with Atomika’s new contemplative mood, and may have a scheme to be rid of him with the help of the infamous Baba Yoga.

Atomika should have been a book. This comic is literature of the highest degree. But unfortunately it isn’t a novel, but a rockin’ comic that should be owned by comic snobs everywhere. So get out there and give a chortle as you pick up this incredible comic.
