This is a must for any fan of comic books. The traditional fan of tights and side-quips will love the many borrowings and allusions to great comic book events. The indy fan will love this book simply because it rocks. Filled with innovation and imagination, the Amazing Joy Buzzards is one of the freshest ideas to hit the comic shop shelves in a coon’s age. I am not kidding people! You would have to be an utter simpleton, or just plain bat-$#!# crazy to avoid this book. Also, in case you missed it the first time around, (and I know that you did) you have got to get to your local comic shop, or hit the interweb, and locate the first four-part AJB series. In it you will find all those things that make a comic book a smash hit and more. This is an unstoppable series. Three hurrahs for the team at Image. -Peblee |
